Building The Future Award

STEM Educator Award & STEM Leader Award

Your nominee should be an educator or advocate who helps bring STEM/STEAM* learning opportunities to children. The nominee’s work or leadership exemplifies STEM learning, and should emphasize the Engineering Design Process, 21st Century Skills (collaboration and teamwork, creativity and imagination, critical thinking, problem solving), or other qualities central to student-centered, project-based, STEM education.

Nominees may nominate themselves but in that case, please include a letter/email of support. Awardees will be notified of award by the end of the current semester.

The Building the Future Award is given to deserving recipients in two categories each semester:

STEM Educator Award (could be teachers, after school directors, principals, or others)

STEM Leader Award (could be parent volunteers, community-based organization leaders, Department of Education innovators, or others)

You may nominate a person in both categories.
